ATF software description

The software tool ATF (AMK Tool Flasher) is used to flash AMK firmware files into AMK devices.

ATF is a part of AIPEX PRO installation package (AMK part.-no. O903). During the installation you can select or deselect ATF via the window 'Choose Components'.

 

Application variants

The software ATF (AMK Tool Flasher) includes two program parts:

• ATF GUI (Graphic User Interface): User interface / configuration of programming task
• ATF Server: Transmits the firmware into the devices

 

The Software ATF can be used in 2 different variants:

 

Variant 1: Local (1 PC)

ATF GUI and ATF Server runs on the same PC (default variant, preconfigured).

 

 

Variant 2: Network (2 PCs)

ATF GUI and ATF Server runs at different PCs, the PCs will be linked via network together. With this variant you can flash devices which are not directly near to you e. g. a controller card KW-R03 with serial interface. The PC which executes ATF Server will be linked via a serial cable to the controller card. The controller card can now flashed with ATF GUI (execute on a second PC) from a other floor or building or also over the internet.
