The AMK AIPEX PRO Startup software supports the drive startup of AMK drive systems and is also ideally suited for new customers thanks to its easy operation. The software offers interesting functions even for experienced customers and serial startup, however.

AMK drive systems connected with an electronic nameplate are detected and identified automatically. At the same time, all the important variables for the motor, motor encoder and gear are displayed. The software can determine operational parameter values independently for the current controller, speed controller and position controller in a very short time and set them in the drive. The measured control response to a setpoint jump is recorded automatically and displayed graphically.

The user can influence and optimize the controller settings for his application. Multiple settings can be recorded and saved so that the user can compare different measurements with each other for evaluation in order to find the best setting for his application.

The software supports the user with the further startup by providing the following functions:

• Jog operation mode with speed setpoint specification
• Help when setting the limits for torque, speed and position
• Simple control of the controller enable and a motor holding brake
• Display of the actual values for speed and position
• Indication of device status
• Indication of bus status with networked drives (via EtherCAT drive bus)
• Report printout of the verified values and measurement diagrams
